I am seeing these kind of URLs under 'Referrer' column in stats. Plenty of them. They hit only index.php of the site. Nothing else.
What exactly are these?

But how to stop it? I googled for 'referrer spam', but it seems there is no way to stop it?
If I want to block IPs, how many IPs I have to block? What if legit people comes from some of these IPs?
If I click 'Ban' in PhpTrafficA interface, these people can not access site?
