ZoneO-tips for Mandriva Linux

Need help with Linux? Well, I've been dealing with Linux for some time now, and I love it. But, like with any other computer system, there are still a few glitches that can cause you trouble... and since I never remember how I worked around an issue, I decided to take some notes and make them accessible to the community!

Printing from word in crossover office, 02/02/2005

Crossover Office is a great program. It allows you to run some windows applications on you linux box, such as M$ Word or Powerpoint. I know, I could be using other programs, but when you have to go to a conference, they want ppt files, and nothing else. Also, it's not always possible to interact with others when editing word documents in OpenOffice...

Anyway, I had a small problem: I could not print! For some reason my files tend to disapear somewhere between Word and the printer. Solution is simple in fact: instead of sending the file directly to the printer, send it the KDE printing system, and choose you printer from there...
