ZoneO-tips for Mandriva Linux

Need help with Linux? Well, I've been dealing with Linux for some time now, and I love it. But, like with any other computer system, there are still a few glitches that can cause you trouble... and since I never remember how I worked around an issue, I decided to take some notes and make them accessible to the community!

One of those things that drive me nuts from time to time. With the new version of mandrake (10.1), I could not print from acroread! When I tried to print, it offered me to use kprinter, I accepted, and later used to get two error messages:

one from acrobat, complaining about some filter,
one from kprinter, because it could not find anything to print.

Well, the solution is quite simple in fact. Just replace kprinter with kprinter -c. It makes an internal copy of the files to print and everything works. You still get one of the error messages (from acroread), but it prints...
